Christopher, Soni and Satai have been learning about the middle short vowel sounds. They focused on /a/ /o/ and /i/. Firstly, they used their phonemic awareness to listen carefully to each sound and then decided which picture matched which middle short vowel. After, they wrote the word and a phrase which matched the picture. They then practised reading their words and phrases whilst paying close attention to the short vowel.
